Job summary

OHSU Department of Emergency Medicine seeks a full-time physician to join the emergency department at Hillsboro Medical Center in Hillsboro, OR. The ED handles diverse pathology and serves a large Latino and pediatric population.

The appointee will staff the ED, participate in quality assurance activities, and provide online medical consultation. Required are MD or equivalent with EM residency, ACLS, ABEM/ ABOEM status, and an Oregon license.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent with Emergency Medicine residency.
• Current ACLS certification and ABEM or ABOEM board status or eligibility.
• Current Oregon MD license prior to start date and credentialing process completed.

Responsibilities

• Staff Hillsboro Medical Center ED as assigned by Chair.
• Participate in Emergency Department quality assurance activities.
• Provide on-line medical consultation.
