Job summary

Oregon Health & Science University seeks a full-time emergency physician to staff the Hillsboro Medical Center ED, a community ED with academic ties. The appointee will work with an interdisciplinary team, participate in QA activities, and provide online medical consultation as needed.

Requirements include MD or equivalent, EM residency, ACLS, and board certification or eligibility. Oregon MD license and credentialing are required before start date.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent and Emergency Medicine Residency certificate required.
• ACLS certification current required; ABEM/ABOEM board certified or board eligible.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Staff the Hillsboro Medical Center Emergency Department as assigned by the Chair.
• Participate in Emergency Department quality assurance activities; provide on-line medical consultation.
