Job summary

Healthcare United seeks two BE/BC Emergency Medicine Physicians for full-time, permanent roles in East Central Illinois. Expect 15 ten-hour shifts monthly, days and evenings, no overnight shifts, with a strong physician/APP staffing model.

Competitive compensation includes a $460,000 annual salary, $75,000 sign-on, and $100,000 retention bonus, plus relocation assistance up to $15,000. Residency in EM required; visa sponsorship not offered.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with EM residency training
• Board eligible or certified in EM
• Active IL license or eligibility

Responsibilities

• Emergency evaluation, stabilization, resuscitation and acute-care management
• Collaborate with APPs, nurses and consultants in a hospital ED
• Operate within a hospital-employed EM team with day/evening shifts
• Adhere to schedule: 15 ten-hour shifts monthly; no overnight shifts
• Manage ED patient volume of ~40,000–45,000/year
• Oversee 30–35 treatment rooms with expansion planned
• Admissions handled by hospitalists for adults/pediatrics
• Maintains staffing model with 45–55 physician hours and 25–35 APP hours daily
