Job summary

Weill Cornell Medicine on the Upper East Side is seeking a Laboratory Manager-EM Path to oversee the administrative and technical aspects of the Renal/Electron Microscopy Pathology Division. You will supervise staff, coordinate specimen handling, and ensure adherence to regulatory and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory technology or related field.
• Approximately 5 years of electron microscopy and/or histological experience.
• NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or related license.
• Strong leadership and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees administrative and technical lab activities in EM Pathology.
• Trains and onboards staff; manages front-end and specimen workflow.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and data management.
• Ensures equipment maintenance and lab safety per CAP/JCAHO.
• Generates reports and manages procurement and budgets.
