Job summary

Optigy Group's client in Laredo, Texas is seeking an ABEM-certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a busy Level III Trauma Center. Immediate need with coverage as early as December.

The physician will provide 24-hour ED coverage with 12-hour shifts and cross-credentialing across multiple ED locations. Strong support staff and Cerner EMR are in place to sustain efficient patient care.

Qualifications

• ABEM Board Certification is required for the role.
• Active Texas Medical License is required.
• ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• DEA status may be in process during the credentialing period.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour physician coverage in a busy ED.
• Work 12-hour physician shifts in a Level III trauma center.
• Collaborate with APP coverage and ED staff to ensure patient flow.
• Cross-credentialing across multiple ED locations as needed.

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a busy Level III Trauma Center in Laredo, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for an ABEM-certified physician to join a well-supported emergency department with established physician and APP coverage.

Schedule & Coverage

• 8 regular treatment rooms

• 2 negative-pressure rooms

• 2 trauma rooms

• 1 cardiac room

• Pediatrics

Requirements

• ABEM Board Certified

Providers will be cross-credentialed at:

• Doctors Hospital of Laredo

• Doctors Hospital ER South

• Doctors Hospital ER Saunders

• ER Wright Ranch

Priority consideration will be given to providers with a Texas license in hand and a clean file
