Job summary

Optigy Group seeks an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) for ongoing locum tenens coverage in Laredo, Texas. You will work across four ED sites with 12-hour shifts, no on-call duties, and access to strong specialty support across a Level III Trauma Center network.

Ideal candidates hold an active Texas license, DEA, and ABEM board certification is preferred for network-wide coverage. Prior locum/travel experience and cross-credentialing across all four locations are required.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Work across an established Emergency Medicine network with four locations throughout Laredo.

The main hospital campus is a Level III Trauma Center seeing approximately 24,500 ED visits annually, with a 13-bed Emergency Department and access to extensive specialty support including ICU, Cath Lab, neurosurgery, pediatrics, orthopedics, OB/GYN, urology, psychiatry, and trauma services.

You’ll also have the opportunity to cover three freestanding Emergency Departments with annual volumes ranging from approximately 9,000 to 26,000 visits.

The result is a locums assignment offering clinical variety, consistent 12-hour shifts, APP support, and no call responsibilities.
