Job summary

Ferrilli is seeking a Banner Consultant to collaborate with colleges and universities on Ellucian Banner ERP needs, within client budgets and scope. You will report to professional services leadership and work under a Director and VP of Professional Services.

Responsibilities include designing and configuring client systems, documenting specifications, providing technical support, training users, and upholding standards to enable client value creation. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years of IT consulting experience and/ or hands on Banner experience.
• Willingness to travel when required for client or internal business.

Responsibilities

• Support application design and configuration of client systems through customization and coding of screen layouts, user interfaces, printed outputs, and interfaces with other systems to enable client strategies.
• Write and maintain technical specifications/documentation describing program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.
• Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions about ERP and integrated systems.
• Attend internal and external meetings and trainings.
• Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, safety processes and standards, hardware and OS environment, interfaces with other systems, controls, and outputs.
• Train end users or technical support staff to use programs.
• Build and apply technical, safety, industry, and functional standards to support client value creation.
• Support analysis and design of business processes.
• Maintain technical/professional currency and share knowledge with others.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Banner Consultant works in partnership with colleges & universities on their ERP needs, specific to Ellucian Banner, within scope and budget agreed with client. The Consultant roles report up through professional services, specifically working under a Director and ultimately a VP of Professional Services.
