Join Elliot Hospital as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery. This full-time night shift position requires prior RN labor and delivery experience.

About the Role

Elliot Hospital's Women's and Children's Services focus on the health needs of women and children, offering options like nitrous oxide, epidural anesthesia, and surgical safety in line with WHO guidelines. The unit handles approximately 150-180 deliveries per month, with 10 beds, 2 ORs, and a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3.

Responsibilities

1. Promote and support change for optimal patient outcomes and professional practice.
2. Involve patients and families in goal setting and care planning, ensuring seamless communication across shifts and teams.
3. Use current evidence and standards to guide practice and identify areas for improvement.
4. Demonstrate competent clinical practice with decision-making and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN or BSN preferred).
• Current RN licensure in New Hampshire, or with multistate privileges.
• Ability to obtain BLS certification during orientation; ACLS preferred.
