About the Role

The Fuller unit is a 55-60 bed Post-Surgical and Trauma Unit with approximately 160 employees. The unit focuses on adult post-surgical care (including total knee and hip replacements), telemetry, stroke, and general medical cases. It provides an outstanding supportive environment and advanced training for its staff. Elliot Hospital is designated as an Orthopaedic Center of Excellence!

Who We Are Looking For

• Experienced Registered Nurses
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; ASN required, BSN preferred
• Active RN license in New Hampshire or a Compact State
• Current BLS certification
• Specialty certification within six months of eligibility

What You Will Do

• Provide care to patients and families, from basic to complex needs, using the nursing process
• Create a therapeutic environment and involve patients and families in goal setting and care planning
• Utilize current evidence and standards to guide practice and identify areas for improvement
• Demonstrate competent clinical practice with decision-making and critical thinking skills
