• Clinic Director is a key partner of Ellie’s leadership team
• All therapists report to Clinic Director
Responsibilities include Hiring, Training, and Staff Management
• Oversee the hiring process for all therapists in Foxhall
• Provide training for new hires, ensuring compliance with Ellie Mental Health policies
• Assess development needs and conduct ongoing training
• Hold staff accountable for performance expectations
• Manage staff performance, including coaching, improvement plans, and terminations as needed
Supervision and Consultation
• Oversee peer consultation groups to ensure clinical excellence
• Provide clinical oversight and sign documentation for pre-licensed providers
• Participate in peer consult groups
• Conduct 1:1 consultations with therapy staff
• Evaluate diagnoses, create and implement treatment plans, and document sessions
• Use creative interventions to help clients achieve goals
• Coordinate services with relevant stakeholders
• Collaborate on strategies for efficiency
• Manage schedules and supplies
• Respond to concerns from clients and staff
• Lead community outreach and engagement initiatives
• Collaborate with marketing to promote visibility
• Implement improvements for client care and clinic operations
Required Skills/Abilities
• Master’s Degree or higher in mental health
• Licensed in DC (LICSW, LMFT, LPC); Maryland and Virginia licenses are a plus
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of state regulations
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Understanding of HR principles
• Time management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Electronic Health Records
