Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Ability to follow written and oral directions is required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Regular work attendance is essential.
• Professional, personable, and welcoming.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism with staff, public, parents, and Board Members.

Responsibilities

• Works with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning.
• Regular, dependable in-person attendance is essential.
• Model appropriate behaviors for students.
• Develop and maintain a professional rapport with teachers and staff.
• Assist students at arrival and dismissal and supervise during lunch and recess.
• Assist teachers in monitoring, collecting data, and maintaining records of student progress.
• Follow Individual Education Plans (IEPs) per NDE Rule 51 and IDEA requirements.
• Carry out assigned supervision and classroom tasks as needed.
