Job summary

Pullman School District 267 is seeking an ELD Paraeducator to support English Language Learner students starting in the 2026-2027 school year. Under supervision, you will assist certificated staff and provide language acquisition instruction in small groups, while maintaining student records and collaborating with teachers.

The role emphasizes testing eligibility, progress monitoring, and effective communication with families. Part-time schedule and local district benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Two years of college credits or an associate's degree or ParaPro/paraprofessional certification.
• Experience with elementary level students.
• Clerical and computer skills to record data, prepare progress reports, answer emails, etc.
• Instructional skills in math, reading, and writing.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering educational services in reading, reading readiness, writing, behavior, and math, including assessment, planning, and maintaining records.
• Provide small group instruction in language acquisition for varied grade levels and language proficiencies.
• Administer assessments (WELPA and/or ELP21) as requested by staff.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular progress reports to supervising staff.
• Collaborate with ELD teachers to discuss student progress and support language development.
