Job summary

Sandvik is seeking an on-site Technical Specialist, Rock Tools, at the Elko, NV facility to support underground drill rigs and service contracts with NGM Goldstrike. You will perform failure analysis, delivery of parts, tool handling, and coordinate with mining schedules.

Qualifications

• Capable of lifting 50 pounds.
• Capable of pulling drill rods from overhead rack to drill rig.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• High school diploma or equivalent; 1-5 years mining/construction experience underground preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for Sandvik Service Contract with NGM Goldstrike.
• Perform failure analysis, deliver parts, and conduct trials of equipment at customer sites.
• Specialize in underground drill rigs and coordinate with site mining schedules.
• Attend safety meetings with site management and manage stock and tooling logistics.
