This is a full-time, in-person opportunity with benefits. Salary ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on experience and skill level.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in architecture or design practice.
• Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent is required.
• Experience drafting and detailing drawings for construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD required.
• Rhino modeling and Adobe Creative Suite proficiency.
• Experience with NYC Dept of Buildings filings is a plus.

Elizabeth Roberts Architecture & Design is a Brooklyn-based Architecture and Interior Design firm seeking an Intermediate Architect with 6+ years’ experience to join our team of architects and interior designers.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in development of designs
• Assisting in communication with clients
• Assisting in communication and coordination with project consultants
• Preparation of presentations for clients
• Responsible for drafting / detailing drawing sets for construction
• Responsible for drafting drawing sets for Dept of Building and Landmarks filings
• Assisting in the implementation of local codes, rules, and regulations
• Assisting with bidding of projects / coordination with bidders
• Assisting with construction administration duties
• Attending OAC meetings during Construction Administration

Requirements

• 6+ years’ experience
• Minimum education: Bachelor of Architecture
• Experience in architectural drafting and detailing
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Proficient in Rhino modeling and CS Suite
• AutoCAD for MAC knowledge, a plus
• Ability to hand sketch, a plus
• Experience with wood frame construction
• Experience working on high-end, single-family residential projects
• Experience with NYC Dept of Building and Landmarks filing drawings, a plus

This is a full-time, in-person opportunity including benefits.

Depending on skill level and experience, the annual salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000.
