The Briefed is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to help build scalable applications using Elixir and Phoenix. You will analyze architecture, optimize performance, and tackle edge cases within a fast-moving startup.

You'll work across the stack, collaborate with a tight-knit team, and contribute to high-traffic systems. Ideal candidates have hands-on Elixir experience, strong testing practices, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on software development experience using Elixir and Phoenix.
• 2+ years of experience writing automated and unit tests.
• Practical experience using Git for version control and team workflows.
• Solid understanding of engineering best practices, design patterns, and system architectures capable of scaling under heavy data and user loads.

Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Application Development: Partner with product team members to design, develop, and maintain a growing suite of applications and user features across the full technology stack.
• Architectural Analysis: Evaluate current system architecture alongside future product goals to engineer scalable technical solutions.
• Performance & Scalability: Optimize backend and frontend application components for maximum speed, responsiveness, and high-traffic scalability.
• Quality & Testing: Write clean, maintainable code backed by comprehensive unit and automated test suites.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with third-party partners, internal teams, and engineering peers in a fast-paced work environment.
