Job summary

Coforge is seeking an experienced Elixir/Erlang Developer to join our engineering team in the United States. You will design scalable backend services, build real-time distributed systems, and contribute to cloud-native platforms supporting high-volume transactions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of software development, deep OTP/GenServer knowledge, and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ/Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes. Collaboration with DevOps and architecture is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Elixir and/or Erlang.
• Deep understanding of OTP, GenServer, Supervisors, Phoenix Framework, Ecto, and Functional Programming.
• Experience building microservices, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and high-availability platforms.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ/Kafka.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and AWS/Azure/GCP environments.
