Job summary

Windham Mountain Club in Windham, NY is seeking a competitive programs coach for the winter season. This in-person role requires delivering on-snow training, promoting athlete development, and ensuring safety while upholding our Culture of Excellence.

Responsibilities include selecting terrain, setting up venues, supporting race operations, and providing outstanding guest service. Shifts peak on weekends and holidays; start dates are weather dependent, with both full-time and part-time positions

Qualifications

• Must be at least 14 years old.
• US Ski & Snowboard Level 100 Certification (minimum) with current SafeSport training and background check requirements.
• Background check requirements met.
• Previous coaching experience in a competitive program, racing, freestyle, or related discipline.
• PSIA/AASI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality on-snow training sessions.
• Promote athlete development, safety, and sportsmanship.
• Follow Ski & Ride School policies and procedures.
• Select appropriate terrain and manage groups safely.
• Assist with training venue setup and breakdown.
• Support race and event operations as needed.
• Travel to competitions when possible.
• Provide exceptional guest service.
