Job summary

Cimarron is seeking a skilled welder to plan, layout, and assemble metal parts per blueprints, performing MIG and Stick welding with ASME-tested proficiency. The role requires the ability to set up and operate arc welders and related equipment, and to work safely within a lean manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will read and interpret blueprints, pass 3G/6G weld tests, and be willing to work flexible hours to meet plant needs while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, equivalent, or two years related work experience.
• Pass a 3G plate test and 6G pipe welding test.
• Read and follow blue prints.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit; candidates must reside within 50 miles of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Support safety-first manufacturing environment and maintain equipment.
• Must pass ASME Vessel Code weld test.
• Fit and weld pressurized vessel/pipe components.
• Extensive MIG and Stick welding operations experience.
• Set up, adjust, and maintain welding equipment and power tools.
• Read plans and blueprints to guide work.
• Support Manufacturing Engineering on improvement projects and Lean initiatives.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Flexibility to meet plant requirements.
