Job summary

JANUS ESOP HOLDINGS LLC is seeking personnel for Department of State Worldwide Protective Services III (WPS III) tasks in austere environments. You will maintain and repair government-issued weapons, manage maintenance reports, and communicate inventory status and repair progress with clients.

Role requires prior military or law enforcement armorer experience, factory armorer certs, and ability to deploy internationally.

Qualifications

Must be a U.S. citizen.
Four years of military (MOS 2111, 45 Bravo, or equivalent) or law enforcement armorer experience.
Factory armorer certifications for weapons systems on TO prior to deployment.
Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
Valid U.S. Passport with at least 6 months validity.
Proficiency in speaking, writing, and communicating in English.

Responsibilities

Report to the Department Weapons Program Officer for all technical activities.
Maintain open communications with the Armory for work-related activities.
Repair and maintain U.S. Government-issued weapons.
Install special technical equipment for Department weapons (e.g., optical devices, flashlights, grenade launchers).
Test-fire WPS weapons systems as required with COR approval.
Coordinate test firing with a BFFOC-certified firearms instructor.
