The Local Foreigner, a boutique travel consultancy in New York, seeks a Travel Coordinator to support a small team of Travel Consultants and Associates. You will craft itineraries, correspond with suppliers, and manage client communications to deliver highly personalized travel experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years in customer service or hospitality preferred.
• International travel experience welcomed.
• Must be in-office in New York, NY.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time-management and organization.
• Proactive, resourceful problem-solver with attention to detail.
• Proficient with MS Office; Salesforce and Adobe a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft eloquent client descriptions and emails.
• Coordinate with hotels, operators, and guides.
• Make dining, entertainment, and transportation reservations.
• Provide tailored flight recommendations with travel experts.
• Maintain client itineraries and invoicing documents.
• Manage schedules and ensure timely execution of requests.
• Update client calendars and track trip progress.
• Enter data into CRM and support side projects.
