Job summary

Young Management Consulting LLC seeks an experienced Substation Construction Leader in the Atlanta area. You will direct field crews, coordinate electrical, civil, and grounding systems, and drive safety and quality on high-voltage projects.

You will mentor Foremen and Journeymen, develop schedules, review drawings, and coordinate outages when required. Willingness to travel up to 100% may apply depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and field supervision experience.
• Strong communication and safety leadership.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead field teams and manage multiple crews on substation construction.
• Direct Foremen and crew assignments, sequencing, manpower, equipment utilization.
• Coordinate electrical, civil, structural, grounding, and conduit installation within substations.
• Develop daily/weekly work plans based on project schedules and site conditions.
• Communicate safety, quality, and project priorities to field personnel.
• Monitor productivity and adjust manpower/equipment as needed.
• Mentor Foremen, Journeymen, apprentices; ensure teamwork and site conduct.
• Maintain accountability for field performance and safety culture.
• Oversee substation construction activities including equipment installation and testing.
• Review drawings and specs; verify placement and connections.
