Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Akron, OH seeks an Elite Stylist to engage with guests, consult on hair care needs, and deliver top-quality services. You’ll perform hair design, color, styling, makeup applications, brow services, and more while promoting services and product sales.

A Cosmetology license is required and prior salon experience is preferred. You’ll support the Experience Manager and work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Previous relevant work experience required.
• Proficiency with latest salon techniques and products.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair services: design, color, styling, extensions, makeup, brow services, and piercing where applicable.
• Meet or exceed sales goals and contribute to service and retail sales.
• Demonstrate and sell professional hair care and makeup products.
• Support in-store events, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
• Stay informed on industry trends and products; maintain guest service excellence.
• Maintain punctual attendance and store cleanliness.
