General Summary & Scope

The Elite Stylist engages with guests, consulting on hair care needs, recommending products and services, and delivering quality professional services focused on the guest’s total look. Supports the Experience Manager (EM) and Assistant Services Manager (ASM), focusing on performance, guest service, and process compliance. A passion for beauty, exceptional guest service, and product knowledge are essential.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Performance

• Perform hair services including design, cuts, color, treatments, styling, updos, perms, blowouts, keratin treatments, extensions, makeup, and ear piercing (if applicable).
• Achieve or surpass weekly sales and productivity goals, support retail and service sales, guest loyalty, and reduce retail shrinkage.
• Conduct product demonstrations to enhance sales and guest experience.
• Support in-store events, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
• Stay informed on industry trends, products, and services, understanding their ingredients and benefits.
• Maintain prompt and regular attendance.

People

• Build guest relationships through consultations and recommendations.
• Serve all guests efficiently, including walk-ins.
• Collaborate with skin therapists and retail team for a comprehensive guest experience.
• Develop professional relationships with peers and brand partners.
• Promote the guest loyalty program, including credit and app benefits.
• Attend mandatory trainings and meetings for professional growth.

Process

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and infection control protocols.
• Adhere to service protocols for consistent guest experiences.
• Use booking and client management systems effectively.
• Communicate supply needs to the EM to ensure guest readiness.
• Maintain store cleanliness and operational standards.
• Follow dress code and loss prevention practices.
• Perform other operational tasks as assigned.
