Alpha uses AI-powered 1-on-1 learning to help students master core academics with minimal daily time. As a Student Performance Strategist you will motivate, coach, and hold students to elite standards, guiding them through blockers and self-doubt while building trust with families.

You'll split time between 1-on-1 coaching, life-skills workshops, and morning kickoffs that set a high-performance culture. This role stays student-facing, with relocation to Alpha campuses in Orange County, Palo

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Exceptional achievement in a highly selective domain (e.g., national/international medals, top-tier university or founder of a venture).
• At least 3 years of experience in student coaching or leadership roles with measurable performance gains.
• Ability to design and deliver engaging multiweek life-skills workshops with clear progression.
• Willing to work in-person at specified Alpha campuses.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Background in elite competitive athletics (nice-to-have).
• Experience in high-accountability environments like management consulting, investment banking, or military leadership.
• Mentoring in non-academic settings (community organizations, after-school programs, sports camps).
• Comfort presenting to high-expectation families paying premium private school tuition.

Responsibilities

• Drive exceptional student performance, motivation, growth, and life-skill mastery at Alpha's highest-expectation campuses.
• Deliver structured life-skills workshops built for mastery using credible storytelling from your own elite experience, then assessing mastery through Alpha's Test2Pass system.
• Set the cultural tone each morning through focused kickoffs that reinforce high-performance expectations across the campus.
• Track student progress in real time and adjust coaching strategies based on data, not instinct.
• Build trusted mentor relationships with students and families through high standards, consistency, and documented motivation plans.
