Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Strength and Conditioning Specialist to design and implement evidence-based physical performance programs for Special Operations Forces personnel. You will instruct, assess, and adjust individualized and group training, while collaborating with medical staff to ensure safe, mission-aligned readiness.

Candidates must have a master's degree in a related field, CSCS or CSCCA certification, and 7+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field and 7+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in exercise science or related discipline; Master’s preferred.
• Current NSCA CSCS or CSCCA SCCC certification with ongoing maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and instructs on proper training techniques and injury avoidance.
• Develops individualized and group training programs for SOF personnel.
• Collaborates with medical staff to ensure safe, timely readiness and mission-aligned programming.
• Leads and supervises project staff to meet performance goals and quality standards.
