Job summary

Monarch Mountain seeks a Competition Coach to train guests in skiing and snowboarding competition, mentor peers, and participate in on-hill course setup and officiating. You’ll develop coaching skills throughout the season while helping guests enjoy an active mountain experience.

Requirements include 21+, US work authorization, and IFSA/L100 certification preferred. Compensation starts at $20 per hour with Monarch Season Pass and additional benefits. Seasonal, full/part-time opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Legal US work authorization.
• IFSA and L100 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach guests in skiing or snowboarding competition.
• Develop skiing/ coaching skills throughout the season.
• Attend and coach at competitions.
• On hill preparations, course setting, timing and officiating.
• Mentor/coach peers as assigned.
• Perform snow removal as necessary.
• Work flexible hours including weekends/holidays.
