Job summary

Palms Casino Resort is seeking an Officer Security to maintain safety for guests and staff in a fast-paced Las Vegas environment. You will deter crime, respond to emergencies, and coordinate evacuations while upholding casino policies.

The role requires physical conditioning, the ability to communicate clearly in English, and compliance with Nevada licensing and TAM/CPR/ AED requirements. A flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Nevada Gaming License required.
• TAM Card required.
• CPR/AED Card required.
• Ability to use a Fire Extinguisher.
• Must have valid driver’s license if assigned to a Security Bike Officer.
• English communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure public safety for guests, team members, facilities, and operations.
• Inspect interior and exterior premises for unusual signs and incidents.
• Interact with diverse guests and staff with professional communication.
• Conduct investigations and prepare written and oral reports.
• Assist in emergencies, secure scenes, and coordinate evacuations.
• Provide first aid per established protocols and inform relevant authorities.
• Explain policies and procedures to visitors and maintain good relations with stakeholders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
