Job summary

Allied Universal in Bastrop, TX is looking for an Elite Security Officer Patrol Morning Shift to protect clients across tech/media/telecom settings. You will conduct armed patrols, deter threats, and respond to incidents with professionalism while delivering strong customer service in a collaborative environment.

The role requires a minimum of 3+ years in military police, corrections, or armed security, an Armed Guard Card, fast typing, and a HS diploma. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Have 3 or more years of Military Police, Corrections Officer, or armed security-related experience, or be a certified law enforcement graduate.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Type at a minimum of 40 words per minute.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems, assisting with credential verification and maintaining accurate incident and patrol reports.
• Maintain required armed officer credentials, equipment, and professional conduct standards while following Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
