As a Elite Security Officer Part Time Overnight in Bastrop, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $30.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and communications location.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and escalation protocols.


• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.


• Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, vendor, and incident activity.


• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and site requirements, and complete required reports and shift documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of experience as a Military Police Officer, Corrections Officer, Armed Guard, or be a Certified Law Enforcement Graduate.


• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.


• Type at a minimum of 40 words per minute.


• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
