Job summary

Worley in Texas is seeking a Scaffold Builder to construct and dismantle scaffolds in industrial settings, following sketches, blueprints, or company standards. The role requires moving and erecting tubular scaffold, securing platforms, and ensuring ladders and handrails are in place.

Candidates should have at least four years of construction/maintenance experience, with knowledge of OSHA requirements and scaffold erection standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in industrial construction/maintenance.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, site, and JEMCI requirements.
• Knowledge of standards for acceptable scaffold erection.

Responsibilities

• Transport tubular scaffold to the site and erect scaffolds as required.
• Hammer material to locking sections and assemble platforms.
• Hoist scaffold boards to form a working platform and level sections.
• Cut plywood to fit and nail to the platform area.
• Secure scaffolds to structures and install ladders, handrails, walkways, and gangways.
• May rig materials as needed.
