Job summary

Performance Energy Services, LLC is seeking a Scaffold Builder to erect and dismantle scaffolding on building or industrial sites, enabling work platforms and handrails. The role requires basic math, reliability and May involve safety training. The candidate will follow safety rules, wear PPE, and perform related duties as assigned.

The position emphasizes practical scaffolding experience, ground-level setup, and basic communication skills to ensure safe, efficient project progress on site.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• 1+ year scaffold building experience preferred.
• Basic level written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic level mathematical skills.
• Must be reliable and have good time management skills.
• For new hires, must meet all Performance Energy Services employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful background investigation and pre-employment drug screen.
• For new hires, must successfully complete all required training by Performance Energy Services.

Responsibilities

• Check construction requirements from drawings and written instructions.
• Select materials and set ground levels for projects.
• Fit together steel pipes, support braces and clamps to form bases for scaffolds.
• Lift and position sections of scaffolding and bolt pipes together to build up scaffolding.
• Place planks over horizontal bars to create platforms.
• Check levels in scaffolding structures.
• Dismantle scaffolding at the completion of a job.
• Obey and follow all safety rules and policies.
• Wear all appropriate safety equipment (PPE).
• Perform all other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisor.
