Job summary

Aleut Federal, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator-Road Construction based in King Cove, Alaska. Under general supervision, you will operate light, medium and heavy equipment and support deactivation, decommissioning, demolition, remediation and construction projects.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 2–5 years of Equipment Operator experience, plus a valid State Driver's License and a commitment to safety and teamwork in all-weather outdoor work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two to five years experience as an Equipment Operator.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, shears, grapples, skidsteers, loaders and other heavy equipment safely.
• May operate additional equipment on training basis (e.g., grader, track loader).
• Perform routine maintenance and service of assigned equipment; report complex problems.
• Assist in load/unload of trucks and other manual tasks as required.
