You will perform diagnostics, routine maintenance, and repairs on residential HVAC systems, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of HVAC experience, a valid EPA certification, and the ability to work independently while meeting code requirements and company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience servicing HVAC systems (residential and/or light commercial).
• Valid EPA Certification.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical components of HVAC systems.
• Proficient in using HVAC diagnostic tools and software.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must pass background check, drug screening, and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Respond to residential service calls and perform diagnostics.
• Perform routine maintenance like cleaning/replacing filters, inspecting coils, checking refrigerant levels, lubricating motors.
• Repair or replace defective parts and assist with installations per specs and codes.
• Explain issues and proposed repairs to customers and educate on system care and energy efficiency.
• Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders via mobile apps or forms.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with codes and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with dispatchers to optimize routes and support team knowledge sharing.
