Job summary

Great Oaks in Cincinnati is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial systems. You will read schematics, diagnose issues, and ensure safety and efficiency across sites.

You will conduct system inspections, use testing tools, and maintain detailed service records. The role requires climbing into crawlspaces and attics, brazing when needed, and safe operation of field service vehicles. On-call duties end at 9:00pm daily.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial HVAC systems
• Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues
• Conduct system inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency
• Utilize testing tools such as ohmmeters to measure electrical components and identify faults
• Ability to climb ladders, get into crawlspaces and attics
• Repair or replace mechanical parts using brazing techniques when necessary
• Maintain detailed service records and report on system performance
• Operate field service vehicles safely while adhering to all safety protocols
• On-call is required but ends each day at 9:00pm
