Job summary

A federal law enforcement agency is seeking applicants for a special agent position. Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required
• Possess a current valid driver's license
• Carry and use a firearm, maintaining firearm proficiency
• Be at least age 21 at application and less than 37 at the conditional offer
• Obtain and retain Top Secret Clearance
• Visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular, corrected to 20/20
• Hearing loss must not exceed 25 decibels in specified ranges
• Submit to a drug test prior to appointment and random tests thereafter
• Complete 13 weeks of training at FLETC and 18 weeks at the training center
• Sign a mobility agreement for assignments within the U.S. and overseas
• Certify registration with the Selective Service if applicable

• Conducting criminal investigations pertaining to financial obligations.
• Planning and implementing security designs for events.
