Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must possess a current valid driver's license.
• Must carry and use a firearm; proficiency is mandatory.
• Be at least age 21 and less than age 37 at application time.
• Must obtain and retain a Top Secret Clearance.
• Visual acuity of 20/100 uncorrected and 20/20 corrected required.
• Hearing loss must not exceed 25 decibels in specified ranges.
• Must submit to drug tests prior to appointment and randomly thereafter.
• Complete 13 weeks of training at FLETC and 18 weeks at training center.
• Willingness to accept assignments anywhere in the U.S. and overseas.
• Must certify registration with the Selective Service System if applicable.
