Qualifications

• 8+ years of mortgage lending experience, jumbo and non-QM; active MLO license in good standing.
• Proven ability to originate high-balance residential mortgages and consistently meet production goals.
• Strong knowledge of underwriting guidelines, pricing strategies, and applicable lending regulations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business through personal networks, referrals, real estate professionals, and outreach to high-net-worth individuals and families.
• Originate, structure, and close residential mortgage loans, including jumbo, non-QM, portfolio, bridge, and construction-to-permanent financing.
• Build and maintain relationships with affluent clients, understanding their financial circumstances and real estate goals.
• Drive loan production, revenue, and profitability while expanding relationships through deposits, investments, and other private banking services.
• Manage the mortgage pipeline from initial consultation through underwriting, approval, and closing.
• Partner with private bankers, relationship managers, wealth planning professionals, credit underwriting, and closing teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
• Achieve established goals for loan origination volume, revenue generation, client acquisition, and cross-selling.
• Maintain compliance with lending regulations, internal policies, and mortgage underwriting standards.
• Build a strong referral network and identify opportunities to grow the bank's presence within the high-net-worth mortgage market.
