Job summary

Meridian Bank seeks a Private Banking Relationship Manager to develop and manage high-net-worth client relationships across the Meridian Bank footprint, with responsibility for deposit and loan growth, portfolio management, high-touch client service, and referrals to Meridian Wealth Partners.

You will travel within the market, coordinate with bank partners, and deliver tailored solutions while maintaining credit quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Relevant relationship-management and lending experience in private banking, commercial banking, or similar financial-services environment.
• Credit training or demonstrated experience with consumer and commercial credit.
• Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and generate deposits, loans, and referrals.
• Ability to work effectively across business lines and coordinate client solutions.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the assigned market; valid driver’s license required when travel is essential.
• Develop and execute a relationship plan to achieve deposit, loan, fee, and referral goals while maintaining credit quality and risk standards.
• Build and maintain a sustainable prospect and referral network through outreach and community activities.
• Remain knowledgeable about Bank products and engage partners based on client needs.
• Manage an assigned portfolio, deepen relationships, monitor client needs and risk indicators, and provide high-touch service.
