Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Prestige Beauty Advisor to maximize sales in the prestige category (color cosmetics, skincare, fragrance) by engaging guests and assisting in selecting prestige merchandise. This role supports the Sales Manager through a focus on service, guest experience, and in-store events while maintaining store standards.

The ideal candidate has a passion for beauty, exceptional guest service, and the ability to learn product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a passion and significant competency for prestige product, guest service, and selling.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• High school diploma is preferred; Cosmetology, esthetician or demonstrator’s license where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales.
• Greet and engage every guest, personalize service, and inform guests of current promotions.
• Routinely perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience.
