Grand Living at The Grove in Austin is seeking a Prep Cook to enhance the Resident experience through quality food production and strict control of item quantity and quality. You will operate under the guidance of the Executive Chef within our standards and philosophies, ensuring consistent, high-quality meals for residents and guests.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, culinary training preferred, and 1+ years in a fast-paced kitchen with scratch cooking experience.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Culinary Arts or Culinary Apprenticeship preferred.
• 1+ year of experience cooking in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Experience with scratch cooking preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand English to direct, manage, hire and train kitchen staff.

Mansioni

• Prepare food items at the station including meats, vegetables, potatoes, breads and desserts.
• Model professional, friendly, courteous, and timely service to residents and guests.
• Follow guidance of Executive Chef and adhere to community standards and procedures.
