Job summary

Modern Government Solutions seeks a Physical Therapist, Human Performance (Military/SOF) to support the 125th Special Tactics Squadron in Portland, OR. This role blends clinical rehabilitation with performance optimization for elite operators in demanding environments.

You will assess injuries, develop return-to-duty protocols, and advise unit leadership on injury prevention and readiness while documenting care in the Military Electronic Health Record (AHLTA, GENESIS, etc.).

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state physical therapy license.
• BLS certification required; ability to obtain clinical privileges.
• 5+ years post-professional sports medicine experience with athletes or operators.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate musculoskeletal conditions with full clinical privileges.
• Develop rehabilitation and pre-habilitation protocols to maximize operator readiness.
• Advise unit leadership on injury prevention, sports medicine, and rehabilitation.
• Document all care in Military EHR (AHLTA, GENESIS, etc.) and maintain readiness.
