Job summary

Equinox is seeking a dedicated Personal Trainer to join its luxury fitness team. You will develop and refine programming, education, business, and financial planning under two managers, driving client results and career growth at a trusted global brand.

You will build client relationships, manage schedules, market training programs, and stay current with services and products while upholding high standards of hospitality and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Current Personal Training certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Eligibility to begin a higher Tier & pay rate based on previous experience and education (Degree in the field).
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Certification opportunities available for non-certified applicants.
• Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding fitness.
• Ability to work in-person during weekdays/weekends.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Basic computer and technology skills.
• Energetic, friendly, punctual, and respectful.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an active client base.
• Manage and maintain an accurate schedule of client appointments and availability.
• Market and sell personal training programs to members and clients.
• Maintain knowledge of club services, programs, and products.
• Execute fitness assessments, guided workouts, and other services for members.
• Interact with members to enhance workouts and overall club experience.
• Create and coach personalized programs for in-person and virtual clients.
• Maintain an organized and safe fitness floor during shifts and sessions.
• Attend Continuing Education classes to elevate knowledge.
• Attend required one-on-one or team meetings with management.
