Equinox is a premier luxury wellness brand seeking Personal Trainers in the New York area. The role offers high earning potential with earnings described as over $100K, plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and retirement options.

Trainers are expected to build client bases, run efficient schedules, and promote programs both in-person and virtually. You will participate in ongoing education, Certifications can be reimbursed, and you will have access to premier

Qualifications

• Current Personal Training certification or willingness to obtain one through certification reimbursement program.
• Eligibility to begin a higher Tier & pay rate based on previous experience and education (Degree in the field)
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Certification opportunities available for non-certified applicants
• Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding fitness
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Basic computer and technology skills
• Energetic, friendly, punctual, and respectful

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an active client base
• Manage and maintain an accurate schedule, including appointments and open availability
• Market and sell personal training programs to members and/or clients
• Maintain knowledge of club services, programs, and products
• Execute fitness assessments, guided workouts, and other services for members
• Interact with members to enhance workouts and club experience
• Create and coach personalized programs for in-person and virtual clients
• Maintain an organized and safe fitness floor
• Attend Continuing Education classes for promotions
• Attend required meetings with management and participate in programs
