Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited high school or possession of a GED certificate.
• Must have valid Maryland Class C Non-Commercial driver's license.
• Current Advanced Life Support Certification from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians required.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical treatment at the scene of an accident or illness.
• Transport sick and injured persons to medical facilities.
• Analyze and take command of patient care.

Skills

Knowledge of emergency medical techniques

Ability to analyze emergency situations

Knowledge of intravenous therapy

Ability to drive emergency equipment

Education
