Job summary

British American Household Staffing is seeking an experienced Newborn Care Specialist for a Miami family. The role focuses on overnight care, guidance for new parents, and ensuring safe sleep, feeding, and development-friendly routines.

The assignment features 12-hour overnight shifts, seven nights a week, for a 3-month contract starting around early April. Local candidates with 5+ years of NCS experience, CPR/First Aid, and excellent references are preferred.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience caring for newborns; strong track record supporting families during first months.
• Dependable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Warm, patient, nurturing, confident in providing newborn care.
• Professional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with parents.

Responsibilities

• Overnight newborn care including feeding, burping, diapering, soothing and settling the baby.
• Monitor feeding and sleep patterns; communicate observations to parents.
• Maintain safe sleep environment per current guidelines.
• Daily documentation of feedings, sleep, diaper changes, and observations.
• Support development of age-appropriate sleep routines and parental education.
