Job summary

Alpha is hiring a High-Performance Coach to mentor students at its campuses, delivering motivational coaching in small groups and tracking progress with data-driven strategies.

You will design multiweek life-skills workshops, build trust with families, and set a high-performance culture across Alpha's campuses, including Palo Alto, San Francisco, Greenwich, NY, and Boca Raton. This is full-time W2 with benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 3 years of experience in student coaching, youth mentoring, athletic coaching, or leadership roles.
• Ability to design and deliver an engaging multiweek life-skills workshop with clear progression, compelling storytelling, and measurable mastery.
• Willing to work in-person at an Alpha campus in Palo Alto, CA; San Francisco, CA; South Bay, CA; Greenwich, CT; Boca Raton, FL; or New York City, NY (relocation support provided)

Responsibilities

• Drive exceptional student motivation, growth, and life-skill mastery at Alpha's highest-expectation campuses.
• Deliver structured life-skills workshops built for mastery using credible storytelling and assess mastery through Alpha's Test2Pass system.
• Set the cultural tone each morning through focused kickoffs reinforcing high-performance expectations.
• Track student progress in real time and adjust coaching strategies based on data.
• Build trusted mentor relationships with students and families through high standards and documented motivation plans
