Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio seeks a board-certified/eligible OB/GYN to join Summa Health Medical Group, a large multi-specialty practice with over 700 providers. The system delivers high-volume obstetric care, including a Level III NICU at the Akron Campus, and partners with NEOMU for academic appointments.

The ideal candidate will teach residents, provide comprehensive women's health services, and work with an Epic EMR system in a supportive, team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Willingness to work in Akron and surrounding communities.
• Must be comfortable teaching and working with residents.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to quality care in a patient centered, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide OB/GYN care within Summa Health Medical Group.
• Collaborate with a large, established group and midlevel staff.
• Participate in teaching residents and medical students.
• Work with Epic EMR in a high-volume center.
• Support NICU care at Akron Children's NICU facility.
