Summa Health in Akron, Ohio is seeking a board certified/eligible OB/GYN to join our team. The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a large multi-specialty group employed by Summa Health System, with a state-of-the-art Women’s Center on Akron Campus.

The Ob/Gyn team supports a Level III NICU, opportunities for academic appointment at NEOMED, teaching residents, and a comprehensive benefits package including signing bonus, loan assistance, relocation, and CME

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain
• Willingness to work in Akron and surrounding communities
• Must be comfortable teaching and working with residents
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Commitment to quality care in a patient centered, team-based environment

Responsibilities

• Provide OB/GYN care to patients in a busy, academic clinical setting
• Teach and supervise residents and trainees
• Collaborate within Summa Health Medical Group and with hospital-based teams
