Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio is seeking a board certified/eligible OB/GYN to join Summa Health Medical Group, a large multi-specialty practice. The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a 700-provider system with a strong Women’s Center and Level III NICU support for deliveries.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Willingness to work in Akron and surrounding communities.
• Must be comfortable teaching and working with residents.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to quality care in a patient centered, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN patient care in a team-based setting.
• Teach and supervise residents and medical staff.
• Collaborate with NICU and inpatient teams, including Akron Children's NICU.
