Job summary

The Boeing Company in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Non-Destructive Test Quality Specialist (Level 3 or 4) to support the Quality team on a variable shift. The role focuses on validating NDT procedures, performing tests, and driving corrective action on non-conformances.

Qualified candidates will have NAS410 Level 2 in Ultrasonic Testing and Eddy Current Testing with documentation for Level 3 review, 3+ years NDT experience, and flexibility to work shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in NDI/NDT
• 3+ years of experience inspecting parts, components, assemblies, or units
• NAS410 or equivalent Level 2 in Ultrasonic Testing; must have documentation for Level 3 review
• NAS410 or equivalent Level 2 in Eddy Current Testing; must have documentation for Level 3 review
• Willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime
• Capable of working in confined spaces; able to work at heights up to 50 feet with safety gear

Responsibilities

• Reviews and validates product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures
• Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment
• Performs tests or inspections and collects data
• Documents, analyzes and communicates results and assists with corrective action recommendations
• Utilizes technical competencies to provide feedback on adverse trends
• Responsible for non-destructive testing and acceptance of repairs to company products
• Conducts on-the-job training (OJT)
• Adheres to Boeing policies, processes and major inspection methods procedures
